New York University Steinhardt School of Education Master’s Degree – 9/2002 60 Semester Hours Major: Theatre Education GPA: 3.5 Relevant Coursework, Licensures and Certifications: The NYU curriculum included all aspects of theatre along with dedicated courses to enhance teaching strategies with active student engagement. Theatre education has been proven to level the playing field for students of all ages while improving literacy and collaborative learning. Exploring my professional options following graduation, I worked full time as a substitute teacher in Pasco County elementary, middle, and high schools. Certified Teacher for the State of Florida, 2003.
